The hydraulic ball joint ejector with 4.5 t pressure force was specially developed for the new generation of ball pin/aluminium wheel bearing housings. The conical ball joints in these steering knuckle designs are clamped significantly longer than in cast steel wheel bearing housings The use of conventional, manual ball joint puller units is therefore no longer possible for many vehicle types with this axle design
