This equipment is designed for the protection of electronic units in motor vehicles against voltage peaks, e.g. during welding, during loading of the battery, or during starting aid. Thus electronic units in the vehicle can be protected, without having to disconnect the battery. The equipment is attached to the battery and automatically identifies voltage, so it can be used with both 12V and 24V systems.
